Sunset over the sea
Brindisi's coast faces east, but in summer the sun sets so far to the northwest that from some stretches of the northern coast you can watch it go down over the sea. The best spot is Punta Penne, where this happens from late April until around 20 August. Around 21 June the sun sets around 20:20. Where to watch it, day by day, is on our sunset map.
