This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how we use them on brindeasy.it and how you can manage them. It complements our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files saved on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when you visit a website. They let the site remember your preferences and work properly.

2. What we store on your device

This list is a snapshot of what the site actually writes, checked by browsing it. If that changes, this page changes too.

2.1 Technical cookies

None. The site does not use cookies to work: the cart and your preferences live in the browser’s local storage (below), and access to the private area is handled without cookies of our own.

2.2 Browser local storage (no consent required)

These are entries saved by your browser on your device which, except for the chat one, are never sent to us or anyone else: they stay there and you can delete them at any time by clearing the site’s data.

We treat them as technical, so we don’t ask your permission to write them, for two reasons. They give you what you asked for (a cart that doesn’t empty when you change page) or they remember a choice you made, like closing a message. And, apart from the chat, they go nowhere: none of these entries reaches a server of ours or of a third party, they are not used to recognise you and they don’t end up in any profile. We list them anyway, one by one, because not asking permission doesn’t mean not telling you.

2.3 Statistics cookies (only if you agree)

They are switched on only if you choose “Accept all”. If you choose nothing, or choose “Essentials only”, these cookies are not created and no request is sent to the provider.

These cookies can recognise the same browser over time: they are not anonymous data. The data collected (pages viewed, referral source, device type, IP address) go to Google Ireland Ltd, which may transfer them to the United States. You can change your mind at any time from the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page.

2.4 Marketing cookies

None. We don’t use advertising pixels, we don’t do retargeting and we don’t sell data to anyone.

2.5 Third parties your browser contacts

It creates no cookies and does not read your location: the coordinates are fixed on Brindisi, the same for everyone and written in the page. It is needed for the box to work, so it does not depend on consent; the legal basis is our legitimate interest in showing you the weather.
Stripe	Only at checkout, if you choose to pay by card	Your card details, which never pass through our systems. Stripe sets its own cookies in its frames, needed to prevent fraud.
PayPal	Only at checkout, if you choose PayPal	What is needed to complete the payment. It sets its own cookies in its frames.

The site’s fonts are hosted on our own servers: unlike many sites, opening one of our pages sends no request to Google to download them.

3. If you choose nothing

Nothing happens: without an explicit choice the statistics cookies are not created. The banner stays until you decide, and carrying on browsing does not count as consent.

4. How to manage cookies

4.1 Cookie banner

On your first visit you can choose to accept or refuse the non-essential cookie categories. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking “Manage cookies” in the site footer.

4.2 Browser settings

You can also manage cookies directly from your browser:

Note: blocking the browser’s storage for this site may stop the cart and checkout from working.

5. Updates

This Cookie Policy may be updated to reflect changes in the law or in the cookies used. The date of the last change is always shown at the top of the page.
