In Puglia, oil is poured on everything and we hardly look at it anymore. Tasting it on its own, though, is something else: you discover that each oil has a character, and that you can recognize it the way you recognize a wine.
In one hour you learn the gestures of tasting (warming the small glass in your hand, smelling, drawing in air) and you compare different oils: the light fruity one and the one that stings the throat, the sweet and the bitter, Coratina and Ogliarola. Then we talk about what changes in the kitchen: which oil on raw fish, which on a bitter vegetable, which on a dessert.
No experience needed. Maximum twenty people, also for groups.

FAQs
How does booking work?
You book and pay securely online. For shared experiences, the departure is confirmed once the minimum number of participants is reached: we'll email you as soon as it's confirmed.
What happens if the experience is cancelled?
If an experience doesn't reach the minimum number of participants, or the organiser cancels it, you get a full refund of what you paid, automatically and to the same payment method. It costs you nothing.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes. Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before departure, with a full refund to the same payment method. If you cancel later, or don't show up, the booking is non-refundable.
Is there a guarantee or insurance if the experience is cancelled?
What you pay is always protected: if the experience is cancelled for reasons on our side, or because the minimum isn't reached, you get a full refund. Some experiences include specific insurance cover, shown on their page.
What do I need on the day?
Just the booking code you received by email. Be at the meeting point at the stated time, a few minutes early.
