Spring in Salento: Brindisi before summer

In brief: in spring Brindisi warms up quickly: average highs go from 15 °C in March to 22 °C in May, rainfall decreases and days lengthen up to 14 and a half hours of daylight in mid-May. The sea reaches 18 °C in May. It's the best season to explore Salento on foot, before the heat and crowds of summer.

Spring is when Salento awakens: the days are mild, the countryside is green and the art cities can be visited with ideal weather for walking. Brindisi, with its city airport and port, is the starting point to discover it.
