The Fontana di Grisostamo, also called the Conserva, is today a small fountain with a capasone, the large earthenware jar. Not even historians know for sure where the original stood.
It wasn't a work of art but a working fountain, to bring water close to the houses. The street beside it is called Via Conserva: the fountain was probably there, and from there it took the name Fontana Conserva.
