Santa Lucia is an eleventh-century church with a simple gabled façade. The interior is divided into three naves by very low arches, added together with the Baroque altars; in the 1940s the altars were removed and the frescoes of the church and the crypt came back into view.
It is the frescoes of the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries that make the visit worthwhile: they tell of the building's monastic past. Among the works are also the "Martyrdom of Saint Lucy" and the "Madonna del dolce canto", which came, together with the wooden crucifix, from the church of Santa Maria del Ponte, which no longer exists.
