Palazzo Granafei-Nervegna is a sixteenth-century palazzo built for the Marquises Granafei, later owned by the Nervegna family and finally by the city. Over time it also housed foreign trade and consular missions.
The façade is late Renaissance, but in the balcony balustrades you can already see something of the coming Baroque.
Go in: on the first floor are the rooms for the exhibitions organised by the city, and in the wing of the former Assize Court the original capital of the Roman Columns is kept. Seeing it up close, after seeing its copy on top of the column, is quite something.
