The Archbishop's Seminary in Piazza Duomo is the finest example of Baroque in Brindisi. It was commissioned by Archbishop Paolo de Villana Perlas and designed by Mauro Manieri of Lecce; it was finished in 1720, as the inscription over the entrance says.
White marble and the doors from the basilica of San Leucio were reused to decorate it. On the façade, count the eight statues: they represent mathematics, oratory, ethics, theology, philosophy, law, poetry and harmony.
Inside there is a fine chapel.
