Porta Monsignore leads to the road running along the west side of the Seno di Ponente. Unfortunately the area is reserved for the Navy and is usually closed to the public: you can only walk it on rare occasions, and for years the city has been asking for it to be reopened.
At the other end the route finishes at Porta Thaon de Revel, in the Sciabiche quarter. Opposite is the Parco del Cillarese, the largest urban park in Apulia.
